About Us.

Located on the South Coast in the United Kingdom we source our stock from local auction houses, private collections and contacts and antique centre's and shows Worldwide. We have been trading in antiques and selling antique metronomes at various venues and auction sites for many years and the popularity and demand for high quality original metronomes prompted us to offer a dedicated website.
 We try as hard as possible when assessing and servicing new metronomes for this website, to not change or swap original parts unless that part is broken or faulty. We prefer to maintain the integrity of a unit, although if I have the time I occasionally restore whole units including the woodwork, all work or refurbishment is reflected in the metronome description.

Payment Options.

We offer various payment options but we do not run a basket or checkout facility on this website. For UK customers, payments are processed through PAYPAL and this allows us to offer payment options via all major Credit or Debit cards, PAYPAL checkout if you have an account or personal cheques and cash (at your own risk ) from UK customers only. We send an invoice to your e-mail address and customers have the option for proceeding with payment via a Credit or Debit without having to register with PAYPAL.
For overseas customers, please contact us for payment options. In order for us to process Credit or Debits cards from abroad, this may require a phone call to our UK office.
We take a variety of security measures to ensure that your cards and payment details are secure. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties, all payment details are securely destroyed on clearance of funds.
For more information on how to proceed, please take the first step by dropping us an e-mail with an order enquiry quoting the metronome's reference number and we can supply additional details of your options to proceed with payment and send out an invoice via PAYPAL. Please be aware that we do not ship items until the funds are cleared. Our phone number was taken down from the website due to a significant rise in nuisance calls.

Shipping Terms.

We use the UK postal service Royal Mail as our carrier. Packages within the UK are mailed via "Special Next Day Delivery" and are normally delivered before 1pm the following day. All of our packages are mailed with online tracking and WILL require a signature on delivery. Package insurance for transit and handling mishaps or loss is also included by default and provides piece of mind to both parties. For customers paying by PAYPAL please note that we will only ship to the verified address supplied by PAYPAL for security reasons, no exceptions.

For International customers, our items are normally mailed by the "Tracked and Signed" method with Royal Mail, the estimated delivery time is 3-5 days for Europe and 5-7 days Worldwide. Packages are also insured for the value of the item and we will not make false claims on customs forms to avoid paying duty. We strongly suggest that customers ordering from outside of Europe, take into account possible import costs before placing an order. All items will require a signature and on all packages, a tracking number is forwarded to the customer as soon as we have it.
For customers paying by PAYPAL please note that we will only ship to the verified address supplied by PAYPAL for security reasons, no exceptions. Costs are supplied by e-mail after a general order enquiry.

General Terms and Conditions.

We aim to provide a hassle free, easy to order service that includes security for your transaction and by selecting a comprehensive mailing solution to include insurance, we try to ensure that both ends of the transaction are fully covered from start to finish. If for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, we will accept returns at your expense for a period of up to 14 days from receipt of the package. Refunds are for the full cost of the item but do not include initial mailing costs incurred by the customer.
Please be aware that the majority of metronome operational issues due to poor handling in transit or delivery problems can be resolved without having to return your unit. All of our metronomes are given a final test prior to packing to ensure that they are in full working order or meet the detailed description shown on that items description page. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that your item is received in good working order, please take into account that we are wholly dependant on the carrier respecting the "fragile" nature of the package. For International deliveries this risk is obviously increased.
